Charles Joseph ‘Bohawg’ Borklund

Charles Joseph “Bohawg” Borklund, 62, passed away on Oct. 16, 2022, at his home in Perry.

Charles was born Oct. 9, 1960, in Perry to Rudy Borklund and Mary Jane Linton Borklund.

He enjoyed watching Gator football, hunting, fishing and anything to do with being outdoors.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Rudy, and Mary Jane Borklund.

He is survived by: his wife of 18 years, Christina Borklund; three children, Michael Borklund, Casey Borklund and Crystal Ward and her husband, Thomas; three grandchildren, Lily, Jocelynn and Kian, and three brothers, Lynn Williams and his wife, Peggy, Eddie Borklund and his wife, Jennie, and William Borklund and his wife, Norma; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Billy Borklund officiating. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
