Joshua Adam Koon

Joshua Adam Koon, 21, a resident of Perry, formerly of Williston, passed away on Oct. 30, 2022.

He was born Dec. 8, 2000 in Gainesville to Terry L. Koon.

Joshua was a Christian. He worked with the City of Perry Public Works Department for the past year.

He loved to fish, boat riding and go riding in the woods.

He attended Williston High School, where he played football.

He will be remembered as a hard worker who helped take care of his Mama.

He loved life and will be terribly missed by all those that loved him.

Joshua is survived by: his mother, Terry L. Koon; his sister, Whitney Marie Koon; niece, Iris; his very special friend, Aucilla Slaughter; and his extended family, the Slaughters and Sheffields.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Josh Cox officiating. Interment services will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 4, from 6-8 p.m. At Burns Funeral Home of Perry and on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Mt. Horeb one hour prior to the service at Mt. Horeb.
