Sandra P. Weatherly

Sandra P. Weatherly, 73, passed away on Nov. 3, 2022, in Perry.

She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Perry to F. L. Parker and Irene Hughes Parker.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was proudest taking time to have memories with her family. She was always smiling and laughing.

Sandra never met a stranger and passed that trait to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, F.L. and Irene Parker.

Mrs. Weatherly is survived by: her husband of 38 years, Dannie Ray Weatherly; her children, Melinda (Jon) Gill, Jody (Racheal) DeVane, Stacie (Joe) Coxwell and Scott (Linnie) DeVane; her 11 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda (Al) Strickland; and her aunt, Erlaine Jacobs; as a well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Eddie Pridgeon officiating. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family received friends Sunday, Nov. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
