Theresa Marguerite Stanley

Theresa Marguerite Stanley, born November 23, 1965, in Perry, Florida to William E. Stanley Sr. and Joan Maloy. Theresa passed from this earth on November 7, 2022, in Tallahassee, Florida. She was a hair stylist for years, Theresa later worked in marketing as a sales representative. She enjoyed fishing and riding in the woods with her fiancé, and best friend, Harold Mathews. Her love for animals poured out on her two dogs, Slick and Mattie. Her favorite hobbies included yard saleing and pulling on slot machines handles. Theresa loved her family and enjoyed pulling pranks on them. 

 
Theresa was preceded in death by her grandparents Vernon and Ida Maloy and E.W and Elma Williams, her biological father Lawton M. Williams, her uncles Bill Williams and Harold Maloy, and her great nephew Waylon Barber.

She is survived by her parents Joan and Bill Stanley, her fiancé Harold Mathews, one sister Rodna Kay Williams, brothers Lawton M. Williams JR, William “Billy” E. Stanley JR. Nieces Kristina Anderson (Dan), Brandi Barber (Justin), Naomi Stanley, Nephews Brad Bethea (Terri), Ryan Williams, and Isaiah Stanley, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 12:00pm at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with brother Danny Lundy officiating. Interment services will follow immediately at Beth Paige Cemetery in Jefferson County (Wacissa). The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00PM on Monday at Burns Funeral Home.
