‘Career criminal’ sentenced to 30 years in federal prison

Beyah Islam “Bear” Basha, 44, of Perry was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after being convicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine following a jury trial on Aug. 23.
