Rising costs result in $31,000 shortfall

Taxpayers are once again feeling the impact of inflation and rising costs over the past two years, as the Taylor County Commission recently agreed to fund a nearly $31,000 shortfall in state funding for a new — and more powerful — generator at the Taylor County Jail.
