Henry Asa Barker, 85, passed away on Nov. 28, 2022, in Perry.
He was born June 27, 1937, in Madison to Eustice Barker and Annie Belle Campbell Barker.
Henry lived a simple life. He enjoyed Florida State football games, John Wayne movies and all bluegrass music.
He was a Christian and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist church.
He is a 1955 graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa.
Henry was preceded in death by: his parents, Eustice and Annie Belle Campbell Barker, and two nephews, Clarence Byers Jr. and Louie Edward Ivester Jr.
He is survived by: a daughter, Lisa Evans (Chad); three granddaughters, Sierra, Mariah and Hannah; two, great-grandchildren Aleric and Adalia; and four sisters, Carolyn Shives (David), Peggy Johnson, Gloria Mahaffey and Grace Warner; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Dec. 1, at noon at Campbell-Harmony with Brother Lamar Aman officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
