James Terry Morgan

James Terry Morgan, 65, passed away on Nov. 23, in Perry.

Terry was born Sept. 29, 1957, in Wurzburg, Germany, to Robert Odes Morgan Jr. and Anna Luise Hausner Morgan.

James honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Terry worked as a painter most of his life in the construction industry.

He loved to cook, specializing on BBQ.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, and was a diehard Gator fan.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Odes and Anna Luise Morgan.

Terry is survived by: his daughter, Jessica Powell; his grandchildren, Jayden and Marley; and his brothers, Robert (Sheila) Morgan and Karl (Ellie) Morgan; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. To noon on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Burns Funeral Home of Perry for an informal gathering.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to your favorite charity in Terry’s memory.
