Dinosaurs take over downtown!

Santa and friends welcomed two very special guests for the holiday season — the Taylor County Public Library’s very own dinosaurs! The two dinosaurs decided to have an adventure the week of Thanksgiving, and local junior paleontologists were asked to follow their trek with a “Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt.” Following a list of clues, families tracked the dinosaurs through downtown Perry with stops at the Chamber of Commerce, Taylor County Historical Society and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO). The response to the scavenger hunt “was wonderful,” Children’s Librarian Kim Pegg said.
