Fish fry benefits VFW Dec. 17

VFW Post 9225 is holding a fish fry fundraiser this Saturday, Dec. 17, starting at noon, at their new post located in Lake Bird at 9684 Hwy. 221 North.

Plates will be $10 each and include fish, baked beans, coleslaw and hush puppies.

Fish selection will include mullet and sea bass, and possibly bass and catfish, VFW Post Commander Michael Thrift said.

Cloud 9 Tattoos will be on site offering tattoos, with discounts for veterans.
