    Beach home destroyed by fire

    On Wednesday morning, Taylor County Fire Rescue firefighter Rhett Willingham (center) was called to the scene of Tuesday’s Marina Road fire to extinguish a few remaining hot spots underneath sections of the metal roof and one of a neighbor’s boat shelter pilings.

    A Tuesday morning fire completely destroyed a home located at 20894 Marina Road in Keaton Beach, reducing the large beach house to a pile of charred debris surrounded by blackened concrete pilings.
