Gwendolyn Sue Black, 71, passed away on Jan 9, 2023, in Perry, Fla.

She was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Galion, Ohio, to George A. and Lorene (White) Young.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorene (White) Young.

Black is survived by: her husband, Randy Black; her children: Aaron (Amy) Portwood, Sabra (John) Portwood, Emilia Villagomez, Eric (Ronya) Portwood, Selena (Jed) Phillips, Derek (Brittany) Portwood, Sarah (Joseph) Sprinkle, Sabrina (Chris) Michel, Darrin Portwood, William Portwood, Amanda (Mike) Patel, Hannah (Rodham) Kenner and Jacob Portwood; 41 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m. at Carlton Cemetery with Pastor Connie Mote officiating.

Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
