Sarah Yarbrough Adams

Sarah Yarbrough Adams, 82, passed away on Jan. 13, 2023, in Perry. She was born April 4, 1940, in Enterprise, Ala., to Joe C. Yarbrough and Sarah Smith Yarbrough. Mrs. Adams was a Christian of the Anglican faith and was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Jacksonville. She served as the church secretary at St. Catherine’s for many years. She also worked for the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office for several years as a clerk. Sarah was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe C. and Sarah Yarbrough; her brother, Joe Yarbrough; and her sister, Suzie Hollowell. She is survived by: her sisters, Martha Wiggins and Lucy Sellars; niece, Joey (Eddie) Bray; and nephew, Mark (Lori) Wiggins; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
