Free tax service available starting Feb. 6

AARP Tax-Aide will again be providing free tax preparation and e-filing services for local residents every Monday in February at Forest Capital Hall.

Volunteers will be available from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Monday, beginning on Feb. 6, at 203 Forest Park Drive off of Hwy. 19.

Assistance will be provided Feb. 13, Feb. 20 and Feb. 27, before expanding to every Monday and Saturday in March.

Walk-ins only. No appointments necessary. Everyone wishing to file a return must bring a valid Social Security card and photo ID.
