‘Paint the Town Red’ in honor of heart health

The Taylor County Health Department invites local businesses and organizations to “Paint the Town Red” in February in honor of “Heart Health Month.”

“The goal of the decorated storefronts project is to raise awareness for heart health issues. For more information or education resources, please contact the health department at (850) 584-5087,” officials said.

Also in February, the health department will host a “Walk the Park for Heart Health” event Friday, Feb. 17, from 3-5 p.m. at Loughridge Park, which will feature health screenings and more.
