Grand opening for VFW post Feb. 24

VFW Post 9225 invites everyone to the upcoming grand opening of its new post, located on Highway 221 near Shady Grove.

The event, which will be open to the public, will be held Friday, Feb. 24, starting at noon.

Pulled pork dinners (pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw and deviled eggs) will be available for $10 per plate.

Alcoholic beverages will also be available.

The post will also start hosting bingo games, with the first scheduled that Friday, starting at 6 p.m.
