Daniel Lee Robinson

Daniel Lee Robinson, 76, passed away on Feb. 14, 2023, in Perry. He was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Evansville, Ind., to Albert Lee Robinson Sr. and Ruthie Bell Henderson Williams. Daniel honorably served his country in the United States Army for 30 years. He was a loving and caring man; he loved people and never met a stranger. Daniel was a wonderful father, grandfather and husband. He enjoyed watching football no matter which team was playing and watching movies. In his spare time, you could find him dancing and singing around the house. His sense of humor is what gave him laughter, as well as to those around him. Daniel was preceded in death by: his parents, Albert Lee Robinson Sr. and Ruthie Bell Henderson; his sister, Frankie Beavers; and his brothers, Albert Robinson Jr. and Larry Truss. Mr. Robinson is survived by: his wife of 10 years, Carol Robinson; his daughters, Annette Kelley, Carla Lynn, Carolynn Jeter, Rainbow Bruker, Doreen Powell, Candice Shields and Angelique Knowells; and his grandchildren, Tyreece Maner, Tyslii Maner, Antonio Maner, A. J. Bruker, Cameron Bruker and Owen Bruker; as well as a host of greatgrandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, six sisters, four brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Southside Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary French officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
