Bonus approved for PPD chief for serving as acting manager

The city council voted 4-1 in favor of a budget amendment to cover the cost associated with a temporary bonus for Perry Police Department (PPD) Chief Jamie Cruse as compensation for the time he served as acting city manager, but stopped short of adjusting any salaries on a more permanent basis.
