Duke lowers its rate increase by $8.50 per month

Duke Energy Florida has announced it is updating its fuel and capacity rate increase request “due to falling natural gas cost projections,” stating that the adjustment would lower a typical residential customer bill by approximately $8.50 per month when compared to the original proposed increase.
