Kathleen ‘Kitty’ Thompson Hendry

Kathleen “Kitty” Thompson Hendry, 83, passed away on March 11, 2023, in Perry.

Kitty was born April 16, 1939, in Perry to George Thompson and Julia Farnham Thompson.

She was of the Christian faith and was a member of The Center Street Church of God.

She worked with Procter & Gamble in the finishing department for more than 20 years.

Ms. Kitty loved playing Bingo, traveling to the mountains and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, George Thompson and Julia Farnham Mosley; her sister, Vonnie Carroll; her three brothers, James, Bobby and George Thompson; and her stepfather, Gussie Mosley.

Kitty is survived by: her daughter, Ann Collins; her son, Robbie Hendry; three brothers, Donald and his wife, Berinda Mosley, Billy and his wife, Gail Mosley and Dean Mosley; three grandchildren, Kimberley, Chrissy and Kenny Mack; and nine great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
