Louie Mae Turner, 91, of Perry, passed away on March 16, 2023, in Jacksonville. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at Springhill Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, March 24, from 4-7 p.m. at Evans Walker Funeral Home, 907 Homer J. Smith Avenue, in Perry. Louie is survived by: her brother, Michael Thomas of Columbus, Ohio; devoted caregiver, Maxie Young of Perry; her grandchildren, Johnardo LouShaun Turner, Jawoski DeOnte Turner Sr., Kelby Turner and Teresa Pace; 41 greatgrandchildren; 18 greatgreat-grandchildren; and godson, Ruben Maldin as well as caregiver and greatgranddaughter, Monique Dixon. She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Turner; her only son, James Turner; and three grandchildren.
