Alderson to speak at library

On Monday, March 27, the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will welcome Florida naturalist Doug Alderson, who has authored numerous books and articles about Florida’s nature, wildlife and attractions.

His latest book, which was just published on March 15, is titled “Discovering Florida’s Coast; From the Emerald Northwest to Miami’s Biscayne Jewel and Beyond.”

In it, Alderson delves into what makes each section of the state’s coast different, and provides information on those cultural, natural and historical differences.

The free program will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Taylor County Public Library, located at 403 North Washington Street. It will also be livestreamed on Facebook.
