Essie Mae Ridgeway of Perry passed away on March 23, 2023. Viewing will be Friday, March 31, from 4-7 p.m. at Evans Walker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, at 2 p.m. At St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery. She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Smith (Lloyd) of Tallahassee and Sheila Houston (Donnie) of Perry; brother, Luther Sales; and son-in-law, James Calhoun; as well as numerous grandchildren and other loved ones who will dearly miss her presence. Services have been entrusted to Evans-Walker Funeral Home of Perry (850-584-4685).
