August Rayborn Taylor Dunaway

August Rayborn Taylor Dunaway was born sleeping in the arms of Jesus April 3, 2023, in Tallahassee. He was the son of Victoria Taylor and Aiden Dunaway, both of Perry. He is survived by: his parents; his paternal grandparents, Keith and Meridith Anderson of Perry; maternal grandparents, the Rev. James and Nancy Taylor of Perry; paternal great-grandparents, Dr. Miles and Cynthia Nelson of Perry; and maternal great-grandparents, James and Ann Taylor of Powder Springs, Ga. Additionally, he was surrounded by his loving aunts, Clara Parker, Samantha Taylor and Cynthia Upshaw, and uncles, James Taylor, Harrison Parker and Kian Wheeler. Family and friends will gather at First Methodist Church of Perry for a memorial service Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends before the service. The Rev. James Taylor, the Rev. Al McGowan and the Rev. Barry Young will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of August may be made to the North Florida College Foundation (325 Northwest Turner Davis Drive, Madison, Florida 32340) for the purpose of establishing an art scholarship for Taylor County students desiring to study art.
