Carl Vann Jeffrey

Carl Vann Jeffrey, 58, passed away on April 5, 2023, in Tallahassee.

He was born June 13, 1964, in Homestead to Charles “Bo” Thomas Jeffrey and Shirley “Betty” Elizabeth McCall Jeffrey.

He was a Mason for many years. Carl was also a member of the Perry Elks Lodge.

In his spare time, he volunteered as a volunteer firefighter/EMT in the beach area.

Carl worked for Buckeye and then Georgia Pacific as a mechanic and then a mechanical planner.

Carl was preceded in death by: his wife, Teresa Jeffrey; his mother, Shirley Jeffrey; his sister, Angie Torres; and his daughter, Amber Hoover.

Mr. Jeffrey is survived by: his father, Bo Jeffrey; his children, Courtney Jeffrey and Juanita “Prissy” Gipson-Sullivan, as well as her husband Joe; his nephews, Chris Seefeldt and Alex Torres; his grandchildren, Alyssah Tyler, Brayden French, Joanna (Donal) Gregory, Tasha Gipson and Amanda (Denton) Blackman; and a host of great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Perry Shriner’s Club on Saturday, April 29, from 11 am. To 4 p.m.

Family and friends are welcome to join the family in celebrating Carl’s life.
