Pamela Woods

Pamela Woods passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 70 after a brief battle with cancer.

Pam was preceded in death by: her parents, Carl Barnes and Rosa Mae Murphy; her siblings, Buddy, Johnny and Alice; and her husband, Jim Woods, who passed 21 years ago.

She is survived by: her sons David and Michael Stilwell; her grandsons, Blake, Luke, Landon and Joseph; her daughter, Tiffany; and her siblings, Shirley, Ronny and Donny.

Pam was a beacon in her community, working as a tax specialist at H&R Block.

She never met a stranger and went out of her way to make others feel welcome in Perry or to help in times of need.

Fishing and crabbing at the Hickory Mound impoundment was one of her favorite pastimes.

Being a dedicated supporter of the county’s EMS and law enforcement was very close to her heart.

She was a force of nature all onto her own and she will be greatly missed.
