Sheriff will host Fishin’ and Pickin’ fund-raiser

Sheriff Wayne Padgett is partnering with the Perry Garden Club for a “Fried Fishin’ & Parking Lot Pickin’” fundraiser this Friday, April 28, at the Save-a-Lot parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fried fish dinners (including two sides and mullet while available) will be served for $12 each.

There will also be a cake auction and bake sale.

“Join us for bluegrass, country and gospel music performed by Sheriff Padgett and friends,” organizers said.

All proceeds will benefit the Perry Garden Club.
