New warehouse coming

An old truss manufacturing building and former cabinet shop, located across from the new Stone’s Home Center are being torn down to make way for a new lumber warehouse. According to a March 28 City Planning and Zoning Board site plan approval, Stone’s Inc. plans to construct a 6,820-square foot lumber warehouse on 1.06 acres located at the corner of Drew Street and Quincy Street (219 S. Quincy Street) adjacent to the main Stone’s store (formerly Studstill’s and Weiss Hardware).
