Raymond J. Padgett

Raymond J. Padgett was born Feb. 13, 1953, in Cabbage Grove. He was preceded in death by: his parents, J.B. Padgett and Clemmie Lee Fowler Padgett; his wife, Billie Jo Padgett; son, Bobby Allan Padgett; sister, Lena Faye Padgett; two brothers, David Padgett and Jimmy Ray Padgett, all of Perry; and great-grandsons —. He is survived by: his daughter, Felishia Padgett; two sons, Michael (Tanya) Padgett and William Jonathen Bowden; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Dean Hill and Inez Jacobs; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was Baptist. He loved hunting and riding four wheelers. Ray loved his family dearly. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. At Antioch Revival Center (3808 Cash Road). Family and friend are invited to gather for a covered dinner afterward. (Please bring a dish to share.) In lieu of flowers, the family requests small donations to the church.
