    Summer day camps offered at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge

    Are your children craving some adventure this summer?

    Let them spend some time exploring St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge through the Jr. Refuge Ranger Summer Science Camps.

    The day camps are offered to children who have successfully completed the appropriate grade levels listed below by June.

    Applications for Jr. Refuge Ranger Camp are now available at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center or by email request at lori_nicholson@fws.gov

    Four camps will be offered this year. Applications must be received in the refuge office by Wednesday, May 24.

    A random drawing will take place to select participants from the pool of applicants. Those drawn will be notified by email or phone.

    If drawn for a camp, there is a non-refundable $25 registration fee, which will be due prior to the camp date. There is a maximum of 10 participants per camp.

    Campers will need to bring a bag lunch and a refillable water bottle to camp, snacks will be provided.

    Jr. Refuge Ranger camp is sponsored by the Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge.
