Terry Wayne Harmon

Terry Wayne Harmon, 63, passed away on May 16, 2023, in Perry. He was born Aug. 26, 1959, in Charleston, West Va., to Charles E. Harmon and Jeanette Wiley Harmon. Terry honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a Baptist and a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Terry worked with the State of Florida as a corrections officer for 15 years and also with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. He loved spending his time playing drums in bands, and woodworking was one of his favorite hobbies. Terry was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles E. Harmon and Jeanette Wiley Harmon; his two brothers, Edward and Ricky Harmon; and two sisters, Alma Kay Vann and Sherry Lynn Sadler. He is survived by: his wife of 19 years, Mary Alina Harmon, and his son, Derrick Charles Harmon, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with military honors. Brother Billy Gipson will officiate.
