Joseph Dwight Hathcock, 71, meet his savior May 16, 2023.

He was born to Norva Chesser Hathcock and George Elton Hathcock on Oct. 8, 1951, in Foley.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Staff Hathcock and James Hathcock; and sisters, Marlene Bratcher and Frances Durden.

He is survived by: sons, Joe (Amber) Hathcock of Fellsmere (Fla.), Danial (Brandy) Hathcock of Crawfordville, Stacey (Jenny) Hathcock of Virigina, and Joey (Ashley) Hathcock of Jefferson City, Tenn.; daughters, Kathryn Hathcock Curtis (Mickey Soles) of Geneva, Ala., and Alenia Hathcock Adkison (Andrew Denmark) of Perry; grandchildren, Chase Curtis, Colby Curtis, Canslee Hathcock, Amelia Hathcock, Austin (Danielle) Lambert, Nathan (Jasmine) Lambert, Cameron Mosely, Bradley Hathcock,Caden Adkison, Jacob Adkison, Astrid Denmark and Wesson Hathcock; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Bentley, Jackson and Asher; sisters, Virginia (George) Sheffield of Quincy, Kay Folsom, Diann (Wayne) Padgett, Cheryl (Shannon) Black and Denise ( Roger) Stiles, all of Perry; brother, Don (Betty Ann) Hathcock of Perry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
