Sandra Peeples Tyner

Ms. Sandra Peeples Tyner, 72, passed away on May 25, 2023, at the Big Bend Hospice House following an extended illness.

Sandy was born June 20, 1950, in Perry, Florida to Warren Charles Peeples and Pearlie Beatrice Ross Peeples.

She was a graduate of Taylor County High School and worked as a sales associate for Badcock’s Home Furnishing in Perry for more than 20 years.

Sandy was of the Christian faith and a member of the Center Street Church of God.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Charles Peeples and Pearlie Beatrice Taylor.

She is survived by: two daughters, Lisa Gipson and DeAnna Higgins, both of Perry; two brothers, Danny Peeples and wife, Kedra, of Perry and Steve Peeples of Vero Beach; two sisters, Jan Buckhalter and Judy Stripling, both of Perry; seven grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Jordan, Ryan, Shane, Jacob and Travis; and 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.
