Laura Stringfellow Barton

Laura Stringfellow Barton, 44, passed away on May 24, 2023 in Tallahassee.

She was born Sept. 18, 1978, in Wilmington, N.C.

Laura loved her children and grandchildren, and her life revolved around spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by: her son, Donivon Hendry; her maternal grandparents, Pete and Mary Snyder; and paternal grandparents, William and Juanita King.

She is survived by: five children, Brandon Stringfellow, Krysta Stringfellow (Calob), Tessa Barton, Makayla Barton and Savannah Barton; two grandchildren, Weston and Kylie Stringfellow,; her parents, Kristy and Robert Black; her sister, Stacy Mixon (Joey); her brothers, Ricky Stringfellow and Eric Parker; and her boyfriend, Matt Barker; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
