Dickie Morris Bass

Dickie Morris Bass was called home to be with the Lord and Savior on May 19, 2023, at the age of 82. He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Morris Bass and Jason Bass, and one grandson, John Bass. Dickie was born Dec. 19, 1940, and was raised in a loving family by hard-working parents Sidney B. Bass and Trudy Mae Bass. He grew up in Madison, the middle child of five siblings, Ray, Bill, Helen and Judy. Dickie worked in the tree service business for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed working in the cow fields, planting collard greens and fishing. He was a spiritual man and loved being a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who loved him. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m., at Shady Grove Baptist Church, followed by a graveside service at San Pedro Cemetery in Madison officiated by the Rev. Bobby Hall and the Rev. Sammy Bass.
