Bank building demolished

A demolition crew cleared the lot at the corner of Jefferson Street and West Baker to make way for a new car wash expected to be built on the site.
The vacant building that once was home to Citizens Bank of Perry was demolished this past week, clearing the way for a new car wash to be located at 2001 South Jefferson Street across from Save-a-Lot and Walmart.
