    Julian Olliff

    Julian Olliff, formerly of Perry, passed away June 7, 2023, at his new home in Moultrie, Ga. He called Perry home for 43 yers and retired from construction work as an electrical engineer supervisor. His career took him to quite a few countries, such as Egypt, Malaysia, Thailand and Africa. He was happily married to the love of his life, Joan Johnson Olliff, for 38 years, before her passing. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church of Perry. He loved woodworking and he made jewelry boxes as a hobby. He also loved and was good at growing a garden. He is predeceased by: his wife, Joan Olliff; his parents, Lanier and Frances Olliff; a brother, Larry; and a sister, Linda Bozeman. He is survived by: three daughters, Karen Haughton (George), Rebecca Hardy (Duane) and Marcia Powell(Joshua), all of Georgia; stepchildren, Jason Johnson Sr. (Charlotte) of Cherry Lake and Eddie Johnson (Rhonda), Teresa Gipson (Billy) and Billy John “BJ” Johnson (Deon), all of Perry; and a host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Graveside services were held June 10 with the Rev. Billy Gipson officiating.
