Truck driver has close call in Friday crash

A Perry truck driver escaped injury Friday when another driver attempting to pass a vehicle struck his semi and a pick-up traveling behind him in an afternoon crash in Jefferson County.

Robert Woodall, 35, of Perry, was traveling north on County Road 259 around 2:30 p.m.
