Society holds drawing for historic throw

The Taylor County Historical Society is holding a drawing for a woven throw that features buildings located (or once located) in the historic downtown district.

Tickets are $1 each or $5 for seven.

“You may see the throw and get your tickets at O’Quinn Health Mart, located at the corner of Jefferson and East Main. If you are out-of-town, you can send your check to the Society at 118 E. Main Street, Perry, FL 32347 and we will be sure your tickets get in the drawing basket,” President Bettie Page said.

The drawing will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, at 4 p.m.

The group also has a selection of its “They Were Here” series available for purchase.
