Holkham to speak at library July 31

The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will present a program featuring local watercolor artist Bill Holkham on Monday, July 31, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Holkham has been painting and selling his artwork for more than 35 years. His works are printed on a vast array of items under license to various companies.

He will talk about his background and influences in art, as well as his approach to completing his transparent watercolors.

Three door prizes — signed and matted prints of Holkham’s scenic watercolors — will be given away during the program. The free program will be held at the library, located at 403 North Washington Street.
