The journey from child to adult is fraught with confusion and angst, especially when family and society fail–or even refuse –to provide a guiding hand.
The award-winning rock musical “Spring Awakening” gives the audience a harrowing look at blossoming teenage sexuality and the hazards present when those most in need are left in the dark. The Florida State University School of Theatre’s production of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater’s musical opens tonight (Friday) at Fallon Theatre in Tallahassee and continues through Sunday, March 3.
