    62-year-old found deceased in woods near Mt. Gilead Rd.

    Members of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) Team set up a mobile command trailer on Mt. Gilead Road Sunday during a search for a missing local man suffering from dementia.

    The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is investigating the death of a 62-year-old Taylor County man who was found deceased in a heavily-wooded area of the county near Mt. Gilead Road over the weekend, however no foul play is suspected.
