James Harris, 89, of Perry passed away on July 25, 2023. Viewing will be held Friday, Aug. 4, from 4-7 p.m., at Stewart Memorial AME Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. at the church, with interment to follow at Springhill Cemetery. He is survived by: his loving wife, Alma Harris;
his children, Gloria Bailey (Berry) of Brunswick, Ga., James Harris (Linda) of Brunswick, Ga., Blanche Tate (Ezekiel) of Waverly, Ga., Aundrea Green (Danny) of Brunswick, Ga., Shelia Harris of Brunswick, Ga., Tamiko Harris-Cortez (Jackie) of Perry, Tangela Flanders (Gary) of Perry, John White (Katheryn) of Lamont, Wesley White (Caprina) of Perry and Andrew White Jr. of Pompano Beach; two brothers-in-law, A.C. Coverson of Mayo and Charlie “Harley-Davidson Riding” Spanks (Sandra) of Perry; and one sister-in-law, Mary Spinks of Perry.
