Idalia wrecks Taylor

Hurricane Idalia left a wide swaft of devastation across the entire county Wednesday morning, with a potential-record storm surge in some areas along Taylor County’s coast, destructive winds that ripped off roofs, toppled trees onto homes, took down power lines and blocked nearly every road in the county.
