Joseph Teddy ‘Ted’ Raulerson On Sept. 2, 2023, Joseph Teddy “Ted” Raulerson, 80, passed away in Perry after an extended illness. Ted was born in Foley on March 18, 1943, to Bonnie Be (Faircloth) and Joseph Daniel Raulerson. After working at Buckeye in the digesting department for 34 years, Ted retired. After retiring, he tried the restaurant and lounge business, then sold sheds for a while. He was then content playing the stock market and enjoying the outdoors when he could. Ted loved to fish, hunt and being outdoors. He loved sports, old western movies and shows, and country music. He used to love to have coffee and breakfast at Pouncey’s Restaurant, then, after they closed, at Huddle House. He was a Florida Gator fan. Ted was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Be (Faircloth) Raulerson and Joseph Daniel Raulerson; his sisters, Joe Ann Flint and Bertha Raulerson; his brothers, Daniel Raulerson and Rusty Raulerson; his daughter, Katrina Kim (Raulerson) Jenkins; and his former wife, Dorothy Lou Raulerson. He is survived by: one brother, Jerry Raulerson; one daughter, Rhonda Raulerson Portwood and spouse, Jerry Portwood; grandsons, Gregory Wayne Jenkins and Kellan Joseph Wisenbaker; granddaughter, Katrina Walker Cryer; and greatgrandchildren, Kallie Jo Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins and Lane Jenkins. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 9, at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
