Food giveaway set for Sept. 16

Second Harvest of the Big Bend will host a food distribution this Saturday, Sept. 16, “to help our neighbors impacted by Hurricane Idalia, who were out of power for weeks, to restock their fridge.”

In partnership with Tyson Foods Inc, Second Harvest will be giving out frozen chicken, produce, dry goods and water.

The distribution will be held at the West Fraser Perry Mill (1509 South Byron Butler Parkway), starting at 9 a.m.
