Ronald David Leggett

Ronald David Leggett Sr., 76, passed away on Sept. 16, 2023, at his home in Perry.

He was born Feb. 7, 1947 in Cross City to Clarence Leggett and Sylvia Cox Leggett.

Ronald loved caring for his dogs and watching old Westerns.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Clarence Leggett; his granddaughter, Bailea Ray; his wife, Barbara Leggett; and two brothers, Tommy and Carl Leggett.

He is survived by: two children, Rebecca Ray and David Leggett and his wife, Misty; his mother, Sylvia Leggett; four grandchildren, Michael Hurst, David Leggett III, Thomas Ray and Ethan Leggett; two brothers, Bill and Dewayne Leggett; and two sisters, Patricia Graddy and Lisa Adams; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 3 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother John Johns officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
