Nina Jane Shreve

Mrs. Nina Jane Shreve, 60, passed away suddenly on Sept. 17, 2023, at her home in Pinetta.

She was born Dec. 5, 1962, in Carson City, Mich., to James Robert Freed and Margaret Jane Davis Freed.

Nina was a graduate of Taylor County High School and completed two years of college at North Florida Junior College.

In 1983, she married Lonnie Shreve and they began their life together.

Nina was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and cooking for her family and friends.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, James & Margaret Freed, and a brother, Edward Dale Freed.

She is survived by: her husband of 40 years, Lonnie Oscar Shreve; two sons, Ryan Shreve and his wife, Erika, of Pinetta, and Chris Shreve of Perry; a sister, Deborah Manchester of Tallahassee; a brother, Jesse Freed, and wife, Betty, of Perry; and five grandchildren, Cayden, Conner, Easton, Tanner and Emersyn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
