Little king, queen will be crowned Sept. 30

The Florida Forest Festival’s annual “Little King & Queen Pageant” will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship, starting at 6 p.m.

Some 27 contestants – 20 girls and seven boys – will compete for the crown in a “Willy Wonka” themed program, “The Future Has Never Looked Sweeter.”

Co-Chairs Amy Shiver and Angie Turner invite parents, families and friends to come out and support their young princes and princesses.

Admission is $5, and programs will be available for $10 each.
