Elmer Oneil Brannon

Elmer Oneil Brannon, 72, passed away on Sept. 28, 2023.

He was born Feb. 19, 1951, in Madison to Edgar Calvin Brannon and Annie Kathleen Thomas Brannon.

Elmer was a Baptist and a member of Midway Baptist Church of Perry.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Calvin and Kathleen Brannon; his son, Scottie Brannon; and two brothers, Sonny and Buster Brannon.

He is survived by: his wife of 23 years, Linda Brannon; his daughters, Janis Brannon, Elizabeth Arnold (John) and Lori Weaver (Rick); five grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Shannon (Tom) and Marilyn Johnson; and one brother, Jerry Brannon (Camille) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery in Mayo with Brother Tom Studstill officiating.
